Using an AI agent for a Monday morning briefing

Every Monday morning takes a few minutes just to remember: which emails from last week are still unanswered, which meetings this week actually matter, what’s about to be due. The Admin assistant bot in Piskes Agent does that before you’ve even opened your inbox, and leaves a short summary in the conversation.

What the bot does

  • Role: office administration. Schedules meetings, drafts announcements, sets reminders, summarizes email — and leaves a list for you to approve.
  • Connectors: Gmail, Google Calendar.
  • Skills: memory.
  • Routine: Monday 8am — “read last week’s still-unanswered email and this week’s meetings, write a short summary (things to do, deadlines, important meetings) and send it to me in this conversation. Do not email anyone.”

Set up in 10 minutes

  1. Install Piskes Agent and configure a model provider.
  2. Marketplace → Bots → Admin assistant → Add.
  3. Settings → Connectors → grant Gmail and Google Calendar access.
  4. Try it right away: “Summarize what needs doing this week.” The bot reads email and calendar and returns a list.
  5. From the following Monday, it runs itself at 8am and posts the summary right into this conversation.

What happens to your data

  • The email and calendar content it needs is sent to the model you chose to write the summary; Piskes keeps no copy of your emails or calendar events.
  • Scheduling a new meeting or sending an announcement affects someone else — at the Ask first level, the bot stops and asks before creating or sending anything.

Tips

  • Pair it with Customer care if customer and internal email share one inbox — each bot stays focused on one job, which is easier to keep in check than one bot doing everything.
  • Want the summary on Telegram instead of in the app? Turn on the Telegram channel in Settings → Connectors.
  • Tell it the length you want (“5 lines max”) if the summary runs too long.

Cost: on the free plan with your own key, a Monday briefing from a few dozen emails and meetings usually costs well under a few thousand tokens.
