How it works
Three principles: it runs on your machine, it uses your key, and you decide how far the bot may act on its own.
Local-first
The bot runs as an app on your computer: it reads your working folder, writes DOCX/XLSX where you expect them, and remembers how you work. No cloud VM holds your data.
Bring your own key (BYOK)
Pick your model provider (OpenAI, OpenRouter, Anthropic, a local model…) and paste an API key. Until you sign in, Piskes never sits between you and the provider — no limits, no fees.
Autonomy you control
On dangerous commands (deleting files, installing software, sending data out), the bot follows the level you set:

Every signed-in account (free plan included) can add prepaid credit to a wallet for hosted usage. Credit never expires; paid plans use up the monthly quota first, then the wallet.

Transparent about fees with your own key
Using your own key (BYOK) after signing in still carries a 5% platform fee on the estimated cost of those requests, charged to your wallet. Signed out, nothing passes through Piskes and there is no fee at all. Signing out returns you to that mode immediately.
